Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Korean and Japanese Chef and Line Cook to join our team and bring authentic flavors to our customers. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of traditional and modern Korean and Japanese cuisine, along with experience in a professional kitchen setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of Korean and Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, ramen, kimchi, bulgogi, bibimbap, and other traditional meals.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet restaurant standards.
• Develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in compliance with regulations.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Korean and Japanese Chef in a restaurant setting.
• Extensive knowledge of Korean and Japanese ingredients, techniques, and culinary traditions.
• Ability to create high-quality, authentic dishes while maintaining consistency.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus.
