Recovery Driver

Roles & Responsibilities

• Respond to Breakdowns and Accidents: Drive a recovery vehicle to the location of the breakdown or accident.
• Vehicle Recovery: Safely load and transport disabled or damaged vehicles using specialized equipment.
• Customer Assistance: Provide excellent customer service to stranded motorists, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Vehicle Inspection: Assess the extent of vehicle damage and determine the best course of action.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all recovery operations, including mileage, fuel consumption, and services rendered.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to provide timely updates and resolve issues.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on recovery vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Valid Driver's License: Must have a clean driving record.
• Experience: Previous experience in towing or recovery services is preferred but not required.
• Skills:
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
• Ability to operate and maintain tow trucks and other recovery vehicles.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
