Senior Admissions Specialist

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Admission and Registration Department is seeking a Senior Admissions Specialist who will be responsible for implementing admission-related activities, including application processing, applicant support, and outreach coordination, to ensure an efficient, accurate, and inclusive admissions experience in line with set policies and procedures.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement admissions strategies, policies, and procedures to guide the full student recruitment and enrollment process.
• Coordinate outreach, marketing, and engagement activities to attract a diverse pool of prospective students.
• Handle applicant related inquiries and provide support to the same, while ensuring timely and accurate front-line assistance throughout the admissions cycle.
• Administer and maintain application systems and portals (such as Common App, institutional platforms), in line with data integrity standards, and user experience best practices.
• Receive and process student applications across undergraduate, graduate, and international programmes, in line with the set policies and procedures.
• Verify applicant documents and qualifications, including transcripts, test scores, and credential evaluations to ensure authenticity and accuracy of the same.
• Coordinate international admissions activities, including immigration requirements, credential equivalency assessments, and compliance with visa regulations.
• Collaborate with the concerned functions across the university to ensure programme-specific admissions criteria and requirements are accurately implemented.
• Issue admission offers and supervise all communications related to successful applicants in a timely and professional manner.
• Gather data related to admissions and enrollment trends to support analysis, forecasting, and the development of future recruitment strategies.
• Perform Ad-hoc activities related to the job duties, as requested by the Direct Supervisor.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience and at least 4 years in a supervisory position.
• Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
• Certification in a relevant field is preferred.
