POSITION SUMMARY
Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the Butler Department, ensuring the delivery of personalized, anticipatory, and exceptional luxury service to all guests. Support the Butler Manager in leading the team, maintaining service excellence, handling VIP guest requirements, and ensuring all guest experiences reflect the standards of Marriott Luxury Collection and Forbes service practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Butler team and ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Welcome guests, coordinate arrivals and departures, and ensure all guest preferences and special requests are fulfilled.
- Maintain accurate guest profiles and records to support personalized service delivery.
- Support VIP arrivals, in-house guest engagement, and resolution of guest concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor service standards and ensure adherence to Luxury Collection and Forbes service expectations.
- Assist in training, coaching, motivating, and developing Butler associates to enhance performance and guest satisfaction.
- Serve as a role model for service excellence and support a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, Food & Beverage, and other operational departments.
- Prepare and review operational reports, guest feedback, and departmental records to ensure service consistency.
- Handle guest billing inquiries, service recovery situations, and follow-up actions as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
- Protect guest privacy and confidentiality while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
- Anticipate guest needs, create memorable experiences, and continuously seek opportunities to exceed guest expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Butler Manager and hotel leadership team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Butler Services, Front Office, Guest Relations, Luxury Hospitality, or a related field.
- Supervisory Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience leading, supervising, or coordinating a team in a hospitality environment.
- License or Certification: None required.

- Knowledge of luxury hospitality service standards and guest engagement practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
