Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You

Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Commis 2 (Pastry Chef) , you’re not just managing the hotel’s daily pastry production – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

• Produce high-quality pastries: Prepare breads, rolls, breakfast pastries, and desserts following standard recipes for restaurants and banquets
• Enhance menu offerings: Create and implement new pastry recipes and seasonal menus to elevate the dining experience
• Ensure quality and presentation: Decorate pastries and cakes with creativity and precision, maintaining high presentation standards
• Manage product inventory: Maintain an adequate supply of prepared products and ensure proper storage for freshness and quality
• Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
