Superintendent - Maintenance

Supervise maintenance activities of Ports equipment in term of executing maintenance plans and schedules, planning preventative maintenance programs, preparing equipment work plans, and follow up projects while complying with safety policies and regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

Accountable for the timely and efficient execution of daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans and schedules.

Ensure that the equipment maintenance is performed in compliance with manufacturer’s recommendations, QA manuals, company health and safety policies, procedures and applicable standards.

Implement and preserve the integrity of best maintenance practices on equipment through preventative maintenance programs.

Prepare detailed work plans that include personnel, plant, equipment, and parts available.

Follow up and monitor all project managers and CM work orders making sure that performed in timely manner.

Work closely with other departments and contractors to ensure on time scheduling of services, new equipment receipt, inspection, installation and commissioning, and handover.

Manage off-site repairs of equipment.

Ensure that equipment is in proper condition before granting approval to start the operations.

Control all documentation emanating from or sent to the unit.

Educational and Technical Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field. Master's degree is a plus

Language Skills:

Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage

Years of Experience:

A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a similar role

Nature of Experience:

Experience in similar capacity in Maintenance and Reliability in Manufacturing / Industrial environment.

Familiar with enterprise resource planning system, Microsoft business application, and auto-cad would be an advantage.

Track record for solving complex problems , designing creative strategies, and delivering significant impact.
