Tipper Truck Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tipper truck to transport materials such as sand, gravel, and construction debris to and from designated locations.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and secure loading to prevent spillage.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip, performing routine maintenance and reporting any mechanical issues.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety guidelines during operations, ensuring safe driving practices at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and any issues encountered during transportation.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition.
• Assist in loading and unloading operations at the construction or work site as needed.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• License: Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license (Category 6 or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a tipper truck driver or in a similar role.
• Skills:
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and handling heavy vehicles.
• Ability to operate and maintain large commercial vehicles.
• Basic understanding of loading and unloading procedures.

Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and safety practices.
• Physical fitness to manage the loading/unloading process and long driving hours.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliability and punctuality to meet delivery deadlines.
