Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities as an Electrical Engineer:
• Plan and schedule electrical work according to the construction timeline.
• Design of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, FLS, and communication systems and other MEP work.
• Review electrical drawings and blueprints to understand the requirements and plan the installation accordingly.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as mechanical, civil, and plumbing teams, to ensure proper integration of electrical systems into the broader construction framework.
• Perform inspections and quality checks on installed electrical systems to ensure they meet safety standards and project specifications.
• Ensure all materials and equipment used meet quality standards and are installed according to the design.
• Manage the team of electricians and subcontractors, delegating tasks and supervising work progress.
• Keep detailed records of electrical work, including progress reports, materials used, and changes to designs or plans.
• Ensuring that all electrical installations in a construction project are safe, functional, efficient, and compliant with design specifications and safety regulations. They coordinate closely with other teams to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems into the overall construction.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Dubai municipality approved engineer certification (Electrical fitout) with SOE membership.
• Strong understanding of ELV systems and relevant technologies.
• Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and ELV system integration.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (NFPA, BS, IEEE, etc.).
• Experience with site supervision and team management.

Experience: 3 to 4 years in GCC
