To clear and transport goods as required; to ensure proper upkeep of Company vehicle.
Job Accountabilities:
Deliver goods via a light vehicle, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning several emirates.
Receives instructions for clearing of goods and/or collection of goods with documents.
Visits bank to obtain special clearance on cheques as necessary.
Delivers/collects documents throughout UAE.
Attends Traffic Dept to obtain registration certificates for new vehicles.
For delivery of new vehicles from the workshop, performs receiving inspection.
Assists at port with collection of vehicles as required.
Drive long distances.
Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car.
Report to a dispatcher for any incidents encountered on the road.
Maintain vehicle equipment; replace oil, fill gas tank, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety.
Using navigation apps to determine the best route.
Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders.
Ensures that the car is properly serviced and maintained.
Comply and implement the local laws and client’s requirements related to QHSEMS aspects at workplace, as per the bestowed authority and responsibility.
Carries out any additional tasks assigned (in line with qualifications and ability) by line manager.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Education :Secondary school Certificate.
Experience :Minimum 3years driving in Dubai of appropriate vehicle.
Knowledge & Skills:-
Ability to speak/read/write some English/Arabic/Hindi.
