Civil Engineer

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and executing construction projects from the planning phase to completion. This includes site analysis, design, supervision, and ensuring that all engineering works comply with local regulations, safety standards, and client specifications. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and oversee the construction of infrastructure projects including roads, buildings, bridges, drainage systems, and other civil engineering works.
Perform site surveys and assess conditions to prepare accurate cost and resource estimations.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and prepare technical reports.
Supervise and manage construction activities to ensure they meet safety standards, regulations, and specifications.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project timelines are met.
Ensure compliance with local and international engineering codes, laws, and environmental regulations.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of construction teams and subcontractors.
Resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise during the construction phase.
Review and approve drawings, designs, and calculations.
Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and budgets.
Assist with project planning and scheduling to ensure optimal resource allocation.
Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all aspects of the project meet required standards.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).
Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in civil engineering, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and local building codes.
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera, SAP2000).
Strong understanding of construction project management, budgeting, and scheduling.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and clients.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
